HYPNOTHERAPY

The guidance you receive while in a hypnotic state, to solve a particular issue in your life, is Hypnotherapy. Whether it be smoking, weight gain, procrastination or another obstacle, behaviour can be positively altered with the help of a hypnotherapist’s skilled verbal communication while you are in hypnosis. 

 

Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation that calms your conscious mind and stimulates your subconscious mind. Sometimes referred to as a state of trance, hypnosis is completely natural and drug free. 

 

While in hypnosis your attention is drawn to a specific area/topic and away from things that are happening around you. Your conscious mind, which is your critical thinking, is bypassed when you are in hypnosis. On the other hand, your subconscious mind, which heavily influences your day-to-day behaviour, is brought to the surface. When you are in this deep and relaxed state, you are also in a state of heightened suggestibility.  This openness is extremely useful for uncovering and resolving underlying issues causing unwanted behaviour.

 

Most people find hypnotherapy enjoyable as sessions are relaxing and very effective. Depending on your willingness and objective, you may need one or up to four hypnotherapy sessions.
